Vegan: Adapting to a plant based diet and avoiding all foods that come from animals. Benefits of a vegan diet. It helps you lose excess weight. Lowers blood sugar levels, improves kidney functions, can protect against certain cancers, and is scientifically linked to lowering the risk of heart disease.
